Hydroxide (KOH) and Sodium
Hydroxide (NaOH) are the most common catalysts added to water
for common electrolysis to happen. The more catalyst is added to water
results in higher electrical current draw. Higher current draw usually
leads to higher heating (Ohmic
heating) of the booster
